We are Zee and Carla, and Art Deco Crystals is the quiet unfolding of a life we chose to build together.We met in 2021 while working side by side at the same technology company. Carla was my assistant then, and from the earliest days she understood not only the details of my work but the rhythms of my life. Love arrived swiftly and without reservation. I soon knew she was the one whose presence would steady me, whose insight I would trust in every decision, and whose quiet strength would become the foundation of everything that followed.
I brought a background in finance; Carla began her path in cosmetics. Yet it was her profound love for crystals—the way she held them, studied them, and felt their quiet energy—that gradually reshaped our shared future. By the close of 2025 we made the deliberate choice to leave our former careers behind and devote ourselves fully to this passion. Thus Art Deco Crystals was born.
With the generous partnership of our dear friend Anlinta Yu, we opened our first physical space in Nanjing and began the thoughtful expansion from an online presence into a complete and living brand. Every piece we offer is chosen by hand. We travel monthly to Donghai, China—journeys that have become both ritual and joy—seeking stones that feel true, that carry the clarity and warmth we wish to place in your hands.
